TAC LEAD – Core Government Services (CGS)

CGS is seeking TAC Leads to join the eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) Program, the Army National Guard (ARNG) capstone training event for Brigade Combat Teams (BCT) to attain T-Level 3 (T3) training readiness. These positions are fulltime Exempt (salary) positions supporting the XCTC Program and may support work originating at any or all the multiple scheduled locations of these events. The XCTC Tactical Analysis Center (TAC) Lead coordinates rotation support and assigns TAC teams.

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for the setup, development, and delivery of the Instrumented After-Action Reviews (I-AAR) during the rotation and for the digital components of all final take home packages.

  • Reports to the Rotational Director and are operationally controlled by the Exercise Support Cell Chief when supporting a unit rotation.

  • Directly supervises all individuals assigned to the TAC, to include those temporary augmentees responsible for setup/tear down of FlexTrain equipment and networks.

  • Responsible for the integration of FlexTrain and MILES during training lanes to capture key tactical events and learning points for the rotational unit.

  • Coordinate with the OC/T teams on the training lanes in order to create an effective I-AAR to be conducted with the rotational unit.

  • Conducts OC/T Mobile Training Team support as required.

  • Coordinate battalion AAR products during the FTX portion of the exercise.

Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance

  • 1 year of Bn Command or 2 years Bn Operations experience in a combat arms or combat support unit with either an Army national Guard or United States Army training or maneuver brigade or division.

  • 2 years' experience in the development and delivery of After Action Reviews as an OC/T.

  • Experience with US Army Mission Command Systems and plans/operations experience at the Battalion level and above.

  • Must be able to successfully pass the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Awareness compact disk—read-only memory (CD-ROM) course as a minimum training requirement.

  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills for interfacing with military and civilian personnel.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks at the same time under stressful conditions.

Education:

  • Educational Equivalent: Bachelors Degree plus 5 years' experience in the development, design, planning and execution of large scale, multi-echelon collective training events in the Army National Guard or United States Army for training or maneuver brigade or division.

Working Conditions:

Position: Primarily work from home office environment, occasionally outdoors. Occasional exposure to natural conditions existing at different location around the US.

Work Week: Monday-Friday (may vary based on mission requirements)

Work Hours: 0800 - 1700 (may vary based on mission requirements)

These positions are fulltime Exempt (salary) positions supporting the XCTC Program and may support work originating at any or all the multiple scheduled locations of these events.   • Must be able to successfully pass the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Awareness compact disk—read-only memory (CD-ROM) course as a minimum training requirement.

  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills for interfacing with military and civilian personnel.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks at the same time under stressful conditions.

Education:

  • Educational Equivalent: HS Diploma. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a combat arms or combat support unit with either an Army National Guard or United States Army training or maneuver brigade or division.

Working Conditions:

OPERATIONS AND SCENARIO MANAGER – Core Government Services (CGS)

CGS is seeking Operations and Scenario Managers to join the eXportable Combat Training Capability (XCTC) Program, the Army National Guard (ARNG) capstone training event for Brigade Combat Teams (BCT) to attain T-Level 3 (T3) training readiness. These positions are fulltime Exempt (salary) position supporting the XCTC Program and may support work originating at any or all the multiple scheduled locations of these events. The XCTC Operations and Scenario Managers report to their respective Rotation Directors, and design the Platoon STX lanes.  

Essential Functions:

  • Responsible to design Platoon STX lanes for assigned XCTC Rotation(s).

  • Integrates, plans, and executes battlefield effects (BFE) and battlefield immersion (BFI).

  • Works for the Rotation Director year

  • Coordinates directly with the appropriate ESC Chief to ensure seamless integration of BFE and BFI elements.

  • During rotation, responsible to work with ESC, Range Ops, BFE, and BFI to adjust to the daily changes to STX lane operations.

Requirements:

  • Secret Clearance

  • Former Army National Guard or United States Army experience at Battalion and Brigade level

  • 5 years’ Scenario Planning and Operations experience (Commander, S-3, S-2, A/S-3, Battle Captain, Ops SGM, Sr. Ops NCO, etc..) at Brigade level and above, or Battalion / Brigade Level primary operations / logistics experience (Bn/Bde S3, XO, SPO, etc..) in a combat arms or combat support unit in a training or maneuver Brigade or Division

  • Must be able to successfully pass the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Information Systems Security (INFOSEC) Awareness compact disk—read-only memory (CD-ROM) course as a minimum training requirement.

  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills for interfacing with military and civilian personnel.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks at the same time under stressful conditions.

Education:

  • Educational Equivalent: Bachelors Degree plus Graduate of the Command and General Staff Course (CGSC), or equivalent level of education.

  • 5 years' experience in the scenario development, design, planning and execution of large scale, multi-echelon collective training events.
